Why do I have to book before visiting?

Because the home may be occupied. For stays of three months or more, a visit is arranged after completing the form and making the first payment.
These homes may be hosting guests. Before paying, contact the Help Center with any questions. Host chat and visits are enabled after the first payment. Review the change and cancellation terms before paying.
